Winitihooloo Unveiling at Horn Pond

On May 1, 2005 the The newly created cast of Winithooloo was installed at its original place along the Woburn Parkway. The statue was unveiled by Mayor John Curran and Justin Gordon, Conservation Commissioners Mike Benenate and John Tancredi, several Native Americans and WREN members and friends. Batbara Casey and a group of local Native Americans performed a ceremony in their full regalia using sacred herbs and songs to bless the new statue.
